2022 is a key year for politics in Latin America. The results of the upcoming elections in Colombia and Brazil in June and October, respectively, may mark an ideological shift towards a progressive left-wing orientation in both countries.

The social, political and economic discontent, increased by the pandemic, in many countries of this region has led their governments to consider a new identity and a different political and social model. At this time of change, the great challenge facing these countries is that of Latin American integration and unity.
