The Future Summit 2024: Towards a reform of the Security Council?

The Future Summit in the coming days represents one of the most eagerly awaited dates for the international Agenda for Global Cooperation and Governance. The meeting will result in an intergovernmentally negotiated and action-oriented Compact for the Future, with chapters on sustainable development and financing for development; international peace and security; science, technology and innovation and digital cooperation; youth and future generations; and transforming global governance.

From GATE Center, in our effort to provide a space for open dialogue, we are pleased to invite you to attend next Thursday 26 September, at 12:00 CET, to our meeting The Future Summit 2024: Towards a reform of the Security Council, a roundtable in which we will discuss the first results of this high-level meeting, with a special focus on the reform of the United Nations System, especially on the transformation of the Security Council. We will have the pleasure to count on the participation of:
